- I repaired the icebox of Mary Todd Lincoln in Chicago, Illinois after the President was assasinated. During my many years in Benton Harbor I enjoyed figure skating on the Ship Canal behind my business - then located in the Graham & Morton shipping warehouse. I lived to the ripe old age of 94 - often walking to my office on Water Street from my home on Pipestone Rd.
